Who Are We?
We are Lorraine, John and Boasley.
We live aboard a narrowboat, continuously cruising the historic canals and waterways of the UK. Through our canal blog we share stories, photos and videos about our life afloat, exploring the beauty, wildlife and slower pace of Britain’s inland waterways.
Inspired by our nomadic lifestyle and the rich tradition of British canal art, I also create original waterways inspired designs. My colourful artwork celebrates the charm and heritage of the canals and is available on a range of clothing, homeware and gifts in our Shop. These are perfect for anyone who loves narrowboats, canal life and the British waterways.
Lorraine
I live aboard a narrowboat, sharing canal life through the Narrowboat Round Tuit website. I also design the unique canal inspired artwork that is featured in our shop.
John
I am the captain and steer the boat through Britain’s canals. I keep the boat running smoothly, handling navigation, maintenance and repairs to ensure life afloat continues safely.
Boasley
Boasley is our excitable boat dog who loves life aboard the narrowboat. He enjoys long canal walks, watching ducks, meeting people along the towpath and relaxing after another adventure afloat.
