A relaxed lifestyle
About our boat:
On the 4th March we moored in Napton on the Hill and happened to meet Chris Mears (YouTube: Narrowboat In Slow Time).
We passed Chris’s boat on the 8th March, as we were coming into Marston Doles, and he commented that he didn’t realise we were there because the boat was so quite.
When we met up with Chris again in Fenny Compton, he asked John if he would be willing to have a brief chat on camera about our electric boat, and John agreed.
Below is the video that they made together.

Starting to keep a record of our journeys:
We spent a few pleasant, but wet, days moored next to Chris and Collin’s boats, and I have to say that they were really good company. Chris and John had a chance to discuss their boats and Collin helped with Bosley’s puppy training.
It was these days with Chris that reminded me how much I enjoy working on websites and so John and I agreed that I would start to keep an online diary, so that we have a record of our travels. We don’t want to be YouTubers, this seems like a huge amount of work , but keeping an ‘old fashioned’ written record of our journeys seems like a good idea, for future reference.

Cruising through the countryside
A fleeting friendship on the canals:
Chris and Colin, thank you for your company. We hope that you have many enjoyable adventures and maybe we’ll meet up again one day.
